
Project Overview
I designed the user experience on a number of pages for an employee portal. This allowed employees to check their weekly schedules and clock in. I also designed a desktop view for a supervisor or manager to view all of their employees schedules.
UX Challenge
Mobile Experience
The task was to design the mobile experience for an employee work portal. The user needed the ability to accomplish a number of actions including viewing their upcoming work schedule, clocking into work quickly, and view their previous work schedules.
Desktop Experience
The task was to design a desktop experience of the portal but for the managers/supervisors. The user needed the ability to accomplish a number of actions including viewing their employees work schedules, adding new employees and upcoming shifts as well as multiple calendar views.

Research & Discovery
Employee Schedule View
There were a number of important components and features when thinking about the employee schedule pages. I wanted the user to be able to view all of his previous weeks of work as well as navigate into the week of. I thought it was also important for there to be multiple avenues into the users schedule
Clock In Feature
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Supervisor Schedule View
